Placement is based primarily on age: Infant for 6 weeks to 12 months, Pre-Toddler for 13 to 19 months, and Toddler for 20 months to 2.5 years. We also consider each child's individual development and readiness, and we will talk it through with you during your tour.
Transitions are gradual and guided by readiness rather than a strict birthday cutoff. Your child visits their next classroom several times with a familiar teacher before moving up, and teachers from both rooms share notes so routines, comfort items, and preferences carry over.
We deliberately keep classes small and maintain low teacher-to-child ratios that meet or exceed New Jersey state licensing requirements. Our licensed capacity is 57 children across the school, which allows every child to be genuinely known by their teachers rather than simply supervised.
Yes. Every classroom, from infants through toddlers, is taught bilingually in Spanish and English by native bilingual teachers. Language is woven through circle time, meals, play, and outdoor time rather than confined to a separate lesson block.
Every program includes nutritious meals and snacks, all curriculum materials, and bilingual instruction from native Spanish and English speakers, with no separate charge for supplies or enrichment.
